Verification of KCL & KVL (Kirchhoff’s Law)

SPECIFICATIONS:

KCL & KVL Apparatus has been designed to calculate the value of current flowing through different branches of the circuit. In simple circuits, the resistance and potential difference are calculated with the helps of ohms law but in actual practice complicated circuits which contain a large number of resistances along with several sources of E.M.F. in such cases the effective resistance and the E.M.F can not be calculated easily from ohm’s law . In order to solve this networks, Kirchhoff gave two laws which are known as Kirchhoff’s Laws.

This Instrument comprises of the following built in parts:

• DC Regulated power supply of 0-5V.
• Four type of wire wound resistances, each of 5watt (5Ω, 10Ω, 22Ω, 33Ω) are mounted behind the front panel.
• Circuit for Kirchhoff laws is printed on front panel.
