Resistance in series has been designed to check the effect on the value of two or more than two resistances connected in series. When resistance is connected in series current through all the resistance remain same but potential difference across each resistance will differ.

This Instrument comprises of the following in built parts:

• Two resistances (25Ω, 25Ω) are connected in series and sockets fitted on junction to measure the voltage across the resistances in case of series circuit.
