Resistance in parallel has been designed to check the effect on the value of two or more than two resistance connected in parallel. When two resistance is connected in parallel, potential difference across each resistance will remain same but current through each resistance will differ.

This Instrument comprises of the following in built parts:

Two resistances (100Ω) are connected in parallel and sockets fitted on junction to measure the voltage across the resistances in case of parallel circuit.
