Description
SPECIFICATION: The Hay’s Bridge is a type of electrical bridge used to measure inductance. It is similar to the Wheatstone Bridge but is designed specifically for measuring unknown inductance by balancing the bridge circuit. The bridge consists of four arms, where three are fixed resistors and the fourth contains the unknown inductance. A detector, usually a galvanometer, is used to find the balance point where no current flows. Once balanced, the unknown inductance can be calculated using the known components in the circuit.
